Today In The Fishroom~11/19/10 P. fredrichsthali

I have a trio of these F0 fredrichsthali from Cenote Escondido, Mexico.

Here's the male (9") in a big yawn.



There are two females in this 100 gallon tank. I have shelter on both the left and right side. Each of the females appear to settling down...but the male is courting both. This is the left side female.



A little encouraging "nip"to see if the female is ready to get serious.



When the male is in the middle of the tank, he is generally approached by both females.



The females square off and go through some mandatory lip locking and flaring. Here's right side female meeting left side. The male watching.



It's almost as if he is waiting for the confrontation to show the obvious choice.



Finally enough is enough and he intercedes in favor of "lefty".

What a beautiful fishs you may very lucky for have them i really like your male fish.
